The Jefferson High School varsity Football Game against Elkhorn High School on Friday, September 21 may have been their second lost of this season, but their wins still out way their losses. The truth is when you put two great teams together someone has to lose. Elkhorn student, Micala McDonald agreed that Jefferson is intense competition:
"This is the first game that our team is actually worried about, because we know that Jefferson is a good team."
With the final score of Jefferson 13 to Elkhorn 38, indicated that everyone tried their best. Jefferson High School has accumulated a total of 1,317 yards rushing, and has had a 217 yard coverage through passes so far this season.
Don't be worried Jefferson fans, because with a team record of 3 and 2 they still have a chance at becoming the leading team in their conference and going to the WIAA playoffs.
