 Senior night was a success as the volleyball girls from Abundant Life came out with their second conference match win against the Fall River Pirates. The score of the first game was 11-25, with the Pirates win. The second game started out as a race between Abundant Life and Fall River, until at 7-7 the Challengers started to take the lead to win the second game with the score of 25-12.
The third game was an intense match as the Challengers and the Pirates took turns maintaining the lead, but in the end the Challengers came out with the win, 25-23. The fourth game started out as another race until the score was 9-9, but then Kristina Krogstad, a senior at Abundant Life, served the six continuous times; putting the Challengers into the lead 15-9. The Pirates gave a good fight throughout the fourth game, but in the end the Challengers won, 25-16.
The Challengers current record in the South-Trailways Conference is 2 wins and 6 losses, tied with Fall River and Rio. Carrie Vick, a senior, had a great match with 44 assists attempts throughout the game last Tuesday.
The Challengers will play St. Marys Springs High School in Fond Du Lac tonight, as they hope to come out with another win to add to their season record, 3-8.
