 The Cards roll again. With emotions running high after all the homecoming events, the Cardinals came out and sent an early message with a Covert 32-yard run on their first possession. Even the defense got on the scoreboard, with a Rundle 55-yard interception returned for a touchdown. Edgerton did manage to toss in a score late in the second quarter, but again Brodhead-Juda answered on a Lincoln 41-yard TD run to close the half 24-6 Cards. After the half, the Cardinals showed they still wanted more, marching down the field and punching it in from seven yards out. Later in the third, McAdory added insult to injury with a four-yard TD run to seal the deal, 37-6. Now Brodhead- Juda looks to continue their current streak when they travel to Evansville to face their Rock Valley foe.
