| FOX 47's HIGH SCHOOL YEARBOOK -- Deerfield |
|
The Deerfield Lady Demons volleyball team has met their goal of staying undefeated, and has won the conference title. They played Johnson Creek last Tuesday at the Blue Jay’s home. It was a tough and emotional game, with the Demons winning the first game and losing the next two. They then came back in the last two games and beat Creek. The two teams were both undefeated at that time, but the Demon girls pulled through for yet another win. They then had a conference tournament on Saturday the 6th, where they took second place, losing to Creek in the championship game. The teams are now tied in the conference, both winning the conference or the tournament. Regionals for the girls begin next Tuesday, October 16th. Feel free to come support the girls and lead them to a victory! If they win, there’ll be a Deerfield home game on Friday, October 19th.
