 Lakeside volleyball hosted a triangular last week Thursday. The varsity team won
2-1 against both Shoreland Lutheran and Waterloo. Leading the Warriors
with digs were junior, Jennifer Draeger, and sophomore, Jenna Luisier.
Danielle Ellwein led the team with ace serves and Kenzie Krentz with
assists. The junior varsity and freshman teams received a surprise when the
Shoreland bus came and there were no JV or freshman teams on it. The JV
and freshman ended up cheering on the varsity until 5:30 when Waterloo
arrived. Both the JV and freshman won against Waterloo in a 4-1 sweep.
Lakeside went undefeated for the night.
Next week the Varsity Lady Warriors will start out regionals with a home
game verses Columbus. The game will start at seven.
