 Brodhead-Juda Football
The Palmyra-Eagle Panthers brought their playoff hopes to Brodhead on Thursday night. With a win and an attitude, the Panthers were ready for a dog fight. Unfortunately for them, so were the Cardinals. The Cards came out and scored on their opening offensive play with a Tyler Lincoln 79 yard TD run. It was the start of things to come for the Panthers. Gary McAdory added an eight yard TD run, while Covert added two touchdown passes, hitting Menehan from 10 yards out and McAdory from 23 yards away. Palmyra-Eagle did manage to get a score on the final play with a 57-yard pass. This made the score 28-7 at the midway point. Things would stay the same in the second half with two more McAdory runs from 14 and three yards out. The final score was 42-7 Brodhead-Juda. Now the Cardinals take their attack to the playoffs, where they will face the Cardinals of Mayville. The game is set for Tuesday night at 7:00 P.M.
