Jefferson played Portage on Oct. 23 for the first round of the WIAA playoffs. They beat Portage with a score of 27 to 7, covering 504 yards of offense.
This was an exciting, and well deserved win for the Eagles. Since 1998, they have been trying to win in the playoffs but never succeeded. Now they won and they are heading into round two.
The Eagles currently have a team record of 6 and 4. They are hoping the six wins will keep increasing.
Watch out Eagle fans, because at this rate they will fly through the WIAA playoffs and land right into the championships!
