"Encore" Show Choir Competes in New London

Madison East "Encore" Show Choir competed at the New London High School Invitational on Saturday, February 2nd in New London, WI. The energy was up regardless of the fact that nearly half of them were ill, one even had to stay home, and two other members missed for a swim meet.
Just one week before “Encore” made the finals at the Sauk Prairie Show Choir competition and took 6th place. Unfortunately their performance this past Saturday wasn’t good enough to take them to the finals. The finalists included DePere, Brodhead, Janesville Craig, Reedsburg, Sauk Prairie, and Mayville high schools.
“Encore” didn’t go home losers though. Senior, Drew Wolff won in the solo competition with “Best Male Solo” for “The Impossible Dream” from Man of La Mancha.
