  KELLY CURRAN
Kelly Curran

Kelly Curran joined WMSN Fox 47 in October of 2007. She is excited to be in Madison and glad to be near so many lakes. Kelly was born in the Chicago area, on Groundhog's Day of all days, and grew up just outside of Detroit. She graduated from Central Michigan University in 2005 with a major in meteorology and minors in math and geography.

After college, Kelly went to work at WSEE-TV in Erie, Pennsylvania. At WSEE, not only was Kelly the weekend meteorologist and a reporter for the local Erie market, but she did weather broadcasts for the entire Caribbean, CCN TV 6 in Trinidad and Tobago, and filled in on KHIZ-TV in Southern California as well. Kelly has covered everything from lake effect snow storms to Santa Ana Winds to hurricanes, and all in the same day!

Kelly enjoys reading and spending time by, or in, the water. As a former lifeguard and swim teacher, Kelly loves to swim and lay on the beach. Kelly lives in Madison with her longhaired black cat, Lexi.
