  MATT ZAHN

I grew up about an hour north of Madison in the tiny town of Rosendale. Yes, it's the speed trap on the way to Green Bay. I went to Laconia high school and played basketball for one year and baseball all four years. My family basically all lives in the Fond du Lac / Rosendale / Ripon area.

As far as career wise, I spent the last and also the first five years of my career in Wausau. The last two years I was sports director at one of the two stations in town. I've learned a lot and hopefully I'm up to watchable standards for Madison viewers.

I've had friends live and go to school in Madison along the way, and every time I visited them I never wanted to leave. Now, I am thrilled to be living here and hopefully I won't move again for a while, not just because moving is the worst thing in the world.

I am also happy to be working for a FOX affiliate because The Simpsons is my favorite show of all-time.
