Green Bay- The Packers got some running back help this weekend, signing Cedric Benson to a 1-year deal.  Benson comes over from Cincinnati, where he led the Bengals in rushing in each of his four seasons with the team.  He was the Chicago Bears first round pick in 2005.

The Packers backfield has been rittled with injuries this preseason.  James Starks has turf toe, Brandon Saine has a hamstring issue, and Alex Green is recovering from knee surgery.
