Madison- The beat goes on for Wisconsin distance runner Mohammed Ahmed. He's all but clinched a spot on the Canadian Olympic team, but this weekend he was busy helping the Badger Men's Track & Field team win the Big Ten Championship. Ahmed put together a dominant gold medal performance, breaking the meet record in the 5,000 meters (13:41.06). It's another chapter in a pretty good year for one of the nation's best.
Up next, the NCAA Prelims (May 24-26) and the NCAA Outdoor Championships (June 6-9).
