Appleton- The UW-Whitewater baseabll team captured the 2nd national title in school history with a 7-0 whipping of Emory in the D-III College World Series.  Warhawks righty Scott Plaza tossed a complete game shutout to seal the deal.

Every Whitewater starter had at least one hit, and the team talled 13 total.  The program's only other national title came in 2005.

Head coach John Vodenlich's team finishes with a record of 44-7.

The latest championship cements UW-Whitewater's place in NCAA history.  It's the first time an athletic department has won national titles in football, men's basketball, and baseball in the same season- in any division.  The Warhawks gymnastics program also added a championship for good measure.

UW-Whitewater adds another title
