Mt. Horeb, WI- The Mount Horeb boys basketball team is getting pretty comfortable at the #1 spot in Division 2.  And it's turning into a family afair.  Todd Nesheim is in his sixth season as head coach.  His dad coached in the 80s, and he's been with the program since 1991.

The goal this year is to bring the crowd into the games- in a big way.  The student section is named "Nesy's Nuthouse," and their enthusiasm is rubbing off on the rest of the community.  They should be excited... the Vikings haven't been to the state tournament since 1941.

(Head coach Todd Nesheim) "This program has had some success.  We've had conference championships and what not.  One of my major goals was to bring back the crowd."

(Jordan Haag/Mount Horeb Senior) When I was little in 4th grade I could come to games. There wasn't that much energy.  People came and stuff, but today is just crazy."

(Ryan Epping/Mount Horeb Senior) We're at the supermarket or walking in the halls at school... people will come up to us and say it's great what we're doing. So I think the impact on the community is one of the coolest parts."
