TOWN OF HUSTISFORD, Wis. - One person was flown by Flight for Life from a vehicle versus semitrailer crash in Dodge County Wednesday morning, according to a release.

Dodge County sheriff’s deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash on Highway 60 west of County Road E in the town of Hustisford around 9:45 a.m., officials said

A preliminary investigation indicated that Robert McLaughlin, 51, of West Bend, was driving a semitrailer west on Highway 60 when a Toyota, being driven east by Michael Scholze, 22, of Juneau, crossed the centerline, and the two vehicles collided.

McLaughlin was wearing a seat belt and was not injured, deputies said. Scholze was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, and was flown by Flight for Life to Aurora Summit Hospital. His condition is currently unknown.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Dodge County officials.

The Dodge County Emergency Response Team, the Hustisford Fire Department and first responders, Wisconsin State Patrol, Lebanonn EMS and Neosho Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
