Judge CristinaWith a successful track record hosting the successful Telemundo court show “La Corte De Familia” (“Family Court”), Cristina is poised to become the first television judge ever to cross-over from Spanish-language to English-language television. As the first female television judge to air in national syndication on a Spanish-language network series, Cristina presided over “La Corte De Familia” cases related to relationships, including physical and verbal abuse, paternity claims, child and spousal support and infidelity. 
  Cristina received a Juris Doctor degree from Whittier Law School in Los Angeles and two Bachelors of Arts degrees from UCLA.  During law school, she served on the Whittier Law Moot Court Honors Board and as president of the Student Bar Association.  She also studied International Law in Madrid, Spain.

Judge Joe Brown

Judge Joe BrownJudge Joe Brown is in his 10th season. From 1990 to 2000 Brown served as Shelby County Criminal Courts in Memphis TN where he introduced a new method of dealing with non-violent first time offenders. He was born in Washington D.C. then moved to South Central Los Angeles. While his neighborhood peers were pursuing lives of violence and crime, he graduated with a degree in Political Science from UCLA. He stayed UCLA and received his law degree.  He was the judge who was assigned to reopen the case of James Earl Ray, the convicted assassin of Martin Luther King Jr.  He divides his time between Memphis and Los Angeles, he has 2 sons and wife Deborah Herron Brown.

Judge Mathis
Weekdays at Noon

Judge MathisGreg Mathis was a high school drop out and gang member who was in and out of jail. He went on to become the youngest judge in Michigan’s history.  He then was elected a Superior Court Judge for Michigan’s 36th district. Mathis wrote a book about his experiences called “Inner City Miracle” published in 2002. He began the Self Empowerment Expo in Detroit in 2004, and the event has since branched out to Chicago, Philadelphia and Atlanta. He is committed to social change, economic growth and education, literacy, youth advocacy, labor rights, and empowerment.

People’s Court
Weekdays at 1pm and 3pm

People's CourtJudge Marilyn Milian brings her style of justice for the seventh season of People’s Court. She is the first Latina Judge to host a nationally syndicated court program is proud of her Cuban heritage. She often uses phrases from her Cuban grandmother when addressing litigants. “No sabes ni abodar la mentira …. You don’t even know how to season the lie to make it palatable.”
She received an undergraduate degree from University of Miami and attended Georgetown Law School. Milian was appointed to State Attorney for Dade County Florida, then was appointed to the County Court in Florida, then the Miami County Court Domestic Violence Court Criminal and Civil Division. She resides in Miami with her husband John Schlesinger a Circuit Court Judge and their three children Cristina, Alexandra, and Sofia.

Judge David Young
Weekdays at 2pm and 230pm

Judge David YoungA one-time law clerk for F. Lee Bailey's law firm in Miami, Judge David Young attended Tulane University, where he was President of the Student Body. He later graduated from the University Of Miami College Of Law. In 1984, he became a Florida assistant state attorney in under Janet Reno, a position he held until 1987. After holding several prestigious legal positions in Miami, in 1993 he was elected as County Court Judge in Miami-Dade County, and he was re-elected twice. Then in 2000 Judge Young was elected as a Circuit Court Judge in Miami-Dade and was re-elected to the bench once more.
Young lives in Miami with his partner of 12 years, Judge Scott Bernstein, and their dog Maggie.

Judge Judy
Weekdays at 4pm and 5pm

Judge JudyJudge Judy is in it’s 12th season. Judge Judy made a name for herself in New York City Family Court and retired in 1996 to preside over her television series. Judith Sheindlin attended college at School of Government at American University then law school at New York Law School.  She began practicing law in Manhattan upon graduation. She came to national attention after a Los Angeles Times profile, then ’60 minutes’ story, then her own nationally syndicated show. She has written many books since beginning her television show, ‘Don’t Pee on my Leg and Tell me it’s Raining’, ‘Win or Lose by How you Choose’, ‘Keep it Simple Stupid: You’re Smarter Than you Look’.
She is married to Jerry Sheindlin a former Justice of the Supreme Court of New York, it’s the second marriage for both, and they have five children between them.
